The Farmers' Collective's Envelopes
The Collectif Fermier’s Resources support farmers who choose to set up operations as a group. Through a series of tools for dialogue and reflection, this project helps future partners address the human, relational, and organizational aspects of their startup in order to build stronger and more sustainable collectives.
By making dialogue a central focus of its design, this project supports community-based initiatives that face challenges related to governance, shared decision-making, trust, and generational renewal. It offers practical tools to foster better cooperation, prevent tensions, and support more collaborative, sustainable, and desirable forms of agriculture.
Design plays a mediating role here: it transforms discussions into simple, incremental, and accessible tools. It helps farming collectives anticipate tensions, clarify expectations, share responsibilities, and build a common vision.
This project was among the 40 projects nominated for the France Design Impact Award in the hope category! Congratulations to Justine Le Floch, student in Care Design, for this wonderful honor!
The France Design Impact Award, organized by the APCI, is the French design award that recognizes projects that have a positive impact on society.
