  • innovation mindset and cross-disciplinary collaboration

A programme closely connected to the professional world

From the very first year, students at L’École de design Nantes Atlantique work on projects in collaboration with companies, local authorities and organisations, addressing real-world social, economic and industry challenges.

Throughout their studies, they take part in a wide range of professional project formats, including:

  • workshops, to experience the designer’s role in collaborative teams
  • design sprints, to solve challenges within a short timeframe
  • foresight studies, to explore future uses, services and scenarios

Supervised by teaching teams in close connection with the professional world, students learn to confront their ideas with real constraints and develop a strong professional mindset.
