Over the past few years our students have been awarded a number of prizes for their high-quality work:
Bastien Kerspern won 1st prize for Influents in the Innovact european competition.
Year 2012
National Worldskills competition: Marc Teyssier wins the gold medal in Webdesign and qualifies for the international Worldskills competition.
Inès Le Bihan and Thomas Droze won a bronze award for 45° in the 2nd “Design Inspires Humanism”: 2012 CUMULUS-DIH international design competition for LED Lighting.
Swanny Mouton and Ian Ardouin-Fumat won the Game Jam with their teams for "2012, Le Jeu" and "Thanks for Playing" during Nantes Utopiales.
Aline Mulonnière wins 1st prize for Totem in the Embedded Camera Support Design competition. The international competition was organized by The MEME, an American design agency, and was sponsored by Samsung Electronics.
Ivan Rodriguez wins 2nd place in the 2012 Foundation CLU competition, organized by Philips Lumec, for his project L’Oasis Lumineux.
Thomas Dupeyrat, Violaine Kermoal, Morgane Bignon from L’École de design, Janick Frioux from Nantes University and Valentine Seguinot from Oniris won the Entrepreneurial Competition with their team project T on the rocks, a range of tea made of soluble cubes.
Anne-Hélène Plevin wins the Ouest France Solidaire prize for Bulbi, a playful stuffed toy for children suffering from eczema.
8 prize winners for the Nantes Open Data competition among which 3 projects from our students: Kioske, Open Nantes and Oasis in Nantes.
Elen Provost wins 3rd place in the Pentawards student competition for her eco-conceived perfume bottle.
Inès Le Bihan and Thomas Droze win the Braun competition in France, Switzerland and Austria for their project Hive.
Special mention of the Jury for Jacopo Ferrari and Pauline Ariaux for Songs in the Future of Cork Competition organized by Corticeira AMORIM and Domaine the Boisbuchet.
Paul Verwaerde, Julian Lois and Loris Pujol win the Dream4Car competition, organized by iD4CAR, with their quick delivery project Icare, a project created in partnership with ESSCA and Arts et Metiers students.
Inès Le Bihan wins the Innovation Contest at the Jardins, Jardin show for Ardent, a lamp to plant. The competition is organized in partnership with Etablissement public du musée du Louvre and the Tuileries garden.
Team Lavalanche (Benjamin Berger, Terence Desclain, Quantin Le Roux and Felix Raymon – Interaction Design 3rd year students at L’École de design) win the Laval Virtual time-limited Virtual Fantasy competition.
Regional Worldskills competition: Marc Teyssier, 2nd year Interaction Design student, wins the gold medal in Web Design and qualifies for the national Worldskills competition.
Julie Labbé, Clémence Mahé and Charline Manneheut win 1st prize for Voyage mobile, voyage immobile in the Grand Paris Challenge.
Year 2011
Thomas Buisson wins a Star at the 2011 Observeur du design for his final degree project: Fireline, a luminous guide line for firefighters.
Adeline Jesson wins 1st prize at the Myfab competition with Xchange.
1st audience prize and 2nd jury prize for Franz Renan and Marine Bureau at the 2011 Decotec competition with Source, a washbasin.
Thibaut Godard wins 1st prize at the Make Me! competition with Porcelain, china wine bottles.
Julien Bergignat James Dyson Award France winner with Santécologie.
Worldskills international competition: Paul Janvier wins a bronze medal in cabinetmaking at the 2011 London competition.
2011 Laval Virtual : Creativity prize for François Ballon with Know-How Augmented.
Stéphane Masseron and Thomas Dupeyrat win 2nd place at the Canal + Grand Match de l’innovation with Comme tu veux, a television control smartphone application.
Armel Le Sidaner wins 1st place at the AUDIAR "ça bouge dans le périurbain" competition with Copilot’, a car sharing project for suburban planning.
Worldskills national competition: Gold for Paul Janvier in cabinetmaking and for Nadim Raad in webdesign.
Year 2010
Nicolas Hubert Finalist for Electrolux Design with the external fridge concept based on his observation of the urban daily life in China.
The project "La Baigneuse" was awarded the 3rd prize at the Cumulus Awards competition held in Shanghai in September 2010.
Virtual Fantasy competition - demo category at Laval Virtual First prize and prize for best technical development for the project Immersive Rail Shooter by David Arenou.
IVRC prize (International Collegiate Virtual Reality Contest) at Laval Virtual for the project Immersive Rail Shooter by David Arenou.
Virtual Fantasy competition, Laval Virtual: 3rd prize in the limited-time competition at Laval Virtual, international virtual reality event awarded to the school’s team (Valentin Gauffre, Maxime Fabas, Pierre-Hugo Barbançon et Stéphane Masseron).

"Touch of Glass" competition in Saint-Gobain: 2nd prize for V. Serveau and C. de Cambourg
The project "Hello" by V. Serveau and M. Quéinnec for Blue Ring was selected to be displayed during the exhibitions "L’objet du design" organized by La Cité du design, Saint Etienne, and at L’Observeur du design run by the APCI, Paris La Villette.

"Electrolux design Lab 2008" Antoine Lebrun awarded the 3rd prize for Coox, a mobile kitchen concept
SYPROCAF trade fair (corporate gifts and communication item manufacturers’ fair) on the 12th and 13th march 2008 at Palais des Congrès, Paris: 1st prize awarded to Fabienne Raimond (for her project “Cuillères graine de saveurs”), 2nd prize awarded to Charles Huguet (for his project “Catch the monster”), 3rd prize awarded to Victor Bruzeau (for his project "L’insubmersible".
