Master’s Program: Mutations of the Built Environment

A focus on the Mutations of the Built Environment

As environnemental issues have grown into a major concern in our societies, evolutions in life style and uses have triggered drastic transformations as to how we conceive home, life space, work space, recreational facilities and public space. Interacting in these new types of enhanced spaces involves the use of all senses, and the role of technology in such a multi-sensory context must seriously be reflected upon. Design must invent and implement new life scenarios taking all these parameters into account so as to offer end-users more well-being while helping them adapt to new uses more easily.
The Master’s program Mutations of the Built Environment trains designers to find their voice in this context of ever-changing uses.

Design applications in the field of the Mutations of the Built Environment include :
- workspace (offices, corporate buildings),
- home space (interior design),
- public space design,
- design for all,
- event/exhibition stand design...
