Foreign exchanges

Enrollment prerequisites

 

Reminder:
Only students from our partner schools are allowed to apply for an exchange program. Exchange students can enroll in the International Class and choose one of the following options: Industrial Products, Brand Design and Connected Environments, depending on their profile. All programs are equivalent to the third-year level of our five-year curriculum.

Exchange students can stay for a maximum of one semester.

Other courses are not available to exchange students (see below).

Applicants for the exchange program have to send us the following:
- A CV
- A cover letter
- A copy of their passport
- A portfolio
- An application form. Download the application form.

Deadlines (see also "Calendar"):
Courses are divided into two semesters.
The deadline to apply for the autumn semester is mid May and the deadline to apply for the spring semester is mid November.

Students wishing to apply for programs other than exchanges:

- If you have at least two years of undergraduate studies in graphic, product, spatial or interaction design and are interested in following the "International Class" undergraduate program in English over a full year as a student of L’Ecole de design, you may apply online after November 15, 2012.

- If you have a Bachelor’s Degree in Design and are interested in applying for one of our eight postgraduate programs that lead to a Masters level degree*, please consult the courses online. Classes are either in French or in English depending on the program you wish to follow.

* The Master’s Degree in Design (Diplôme en design), is certified by the French Minister of Higher Education.
